Ben shared his reflections on the then current NGO campaigning strategies with a focus on the potential to take advantage of new media and digital campaigning .

Emma Taggart

Emma Taggart who has worked as a Campaigns Consultant for nearly 7 years.

Emma examined why involving supporters in your campaigns and policy development matters. She argued in her talk that can charities can and should invest in developing supporters into campaigners.

Sam Daley-Harris

Sam Daley-Harris ; founder of The Center for Citizen Empowerment and Transformation, in Washington.

Sam spoke on NGO attitudes that can kill citizen empowerment and transformation. In his talk he highlighted a number of specific attitudes that undermined public participation and stood in the way of progress.
