Public Affairs and Policy Manager

The role:
To work alongside the Head of Public Affairs to influence within Westminster, Whitehall and regionally, based on strong policy analysis and development.
To produce strategies to engage with decision makers and stakeholders and then implement the strategy with a range of targeted and appropriate activities.
To build strong relationships with MPs, Peers, committees, APPGs in order to increase awareness and the influence of the issues. And to keep abreast of all bills, debates and questions in order to maximise the opportunities to make positive change.
The candidate:
Successful experience working in a campaign, parliamentary, policy and political role with knowledge of education or social policy or welfare issues.
Excellent written & verbal communications skills with some experience of writing and producing written publications for a variety of audiences
Experience of creating and developing strategies and implemented influencing and lobbying activities.
